§ 33.01 STAGGERED TERMS.
   (A)   In the municipal elections to be held on November 2, 1999:
      (1)   The three individuals receiving the highest vote totals in the balloting for positions on the Town Council shall each be elected to serve a four-year term on the Council beginning at noon on January 1, 2000; and
      (2)   The two individuals receiving the fourth and fifth highest vote totals in the balloting for positions on the Town Council shall be elected to serve a three-year term on the Town Council beginning at noon on January 1, 2000.
   (B)   All successors to the Council members elected on November 2, 1999 shall be elected and serve for terms of four years.
