In addition to the rates and charges set forth in the applicable rate ordinance, the following schedule of nonrecurring rates and charges shall apply.

Flushing Credit | |
A flushing credit will be applied to customers requesting to flush their lines due to brown water. The flushing credit will not be applied any more frequently than once every 12 months or as approved by the Ingalls Municipal Water Utility Board. | $3 |
Temporary Service Fee | |
Customers requesting a temporary water connection of no more than 24 hours water usage will be assessed this fee for each temporary reconnection. The charge includes up to 500 gallons of water usage and water usage over 500 gallons will be charged at the scheduled metered rate charge to the customer in addition to the temporary service fee rate. | $3 |
Bad Check Charge: To be charged on all returned checks. | |

Reconnection Fee: To be charged to reconnect water service where water service has been disconnected for nonpayment. (Reconnections will only be made when an occupant is present to verify reconnection will not damage property). | |

Service Call Fee: To be charged whenever service personnel have been called to customer's location for any reason not specified under other fees in the water rate ordinance. | |

Meter Tampering Charges: To be charged to customers tampering with the meter for any reason. | |
First instance | Cost of any damage and estimated water usage, but not to be less than $250. |
Second instance | Permanent disconnection of water service. |
Unauthorized Use of Hydrant and Hydrant Meter Tampering: To be charged to customers for unauthorized use of hydrants and for hydrant meter tampering. | |
Each instance | $500 plus cost of any damage and estimated water usage. |
