§ 92.01 DEFINITIONS; BOARD AND DEPARTMENT PROVISIONS.
   (A)   For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      DEPARTMENT. The Town Department of Parks and Recreation.
      DISTRICT. The district within the jurisdiction of the Department.
      PARK BOARD. The Town Board of Parks and Recreation.
   (B)   The Department and Park Board are hereby established under a Superintendent, and other personnel as the Board may determine.
   (C)   The Board shall be composed of four members, with the Library Board appointing a member ex-officio.
   (D)   The Board shall have the general power to perform all acts necessary to acquire and develop sites and facilities and to conduct such programs as are generally understood to be park and recreation functions. In addition to all other powers necessary to achieve the general objectives of the Board, the Board shall have, for park and recreation purposes, all the powers and duties listed in I.C. 36-10-3-1.
   (E)   The Board may create an advisory council and special committees composed of citizens interested in the problem or parks and recreation.
