For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
BASIC RATE. The lowest charge for the use of water.
COMPANY. The town public water system and those owners outside the town serviced by the water system and under the authority of the Council.
METER. The device for measuring the number of gallons of water used by the property attached to the town water system.
TAP. The connection onto the water main on the town.
USER. Those who are attached to the public water system or who are subject to Ord. 1986-19.
