Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof such person shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $500 or by imprisonment for not more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment for each violation. Each such person, firm, or corporation shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for every day during any portion of which any violations of any provision of this chapter, is permitted, continued, or committed by such person, firm, or corporation and shall be punishable therefor as provided for in this chapter.
