§ 110.16 STATEMENTS; CONFIDENTIALITY.
   (A)   No statements shall be conclusive as to the matters set forth therein, nor shall the filing of the same preclude the city from collecting by appropriate action such sum as is actually due and payable hereunder. Such statement and each of the several items therein contained shall be subject to audit and verification by the Finance Director, his deputies, or authorized employees of the city. Where an audit/verification of such statement reveals that the amount of tax paid for any license tax period is less than the amount actually due pursuant to this chapter, a penalty of 50% of the amount due shall be assessed, in addition to a flat fee set by resolution of the City Council to cover the administrative costs of the audit/verification.
   (B)   The information furnished or secured pursuant to this section or §§ 110.14 and 110.15 shall be confidential to the extent allowed by law.
