(A) If any notice of rent increase served pursuant to this section does not state the actual dollar amount of such rent increase, a supplemental or additional notice which does state the actual dollar amount of such rent increase shall be served upon the homeowner, in the manner prescribed by law, not less than sixty days prior to the effective date of such rent increase.
(B) Service upon a homeowner of a copy of the petition or application to such commission for a hardship adjustment of rent shall be deemed to constitute the notice of rent increase referred to in section A herein; provided, however, that the homeowner shall be entitled to at least sixty days written notice of the actual dollar amount of the rent increase.
