The Commission shall consist of six members appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the Council for overlapping three-year terms. Terms shall commence on July 1 beginning with appointments made in 2020 and shall continue until a successor is appointed but in no event more than six months following the end of the term. They shall serve without compensation but may receive their actual expenses. Vacancies shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment for the balance of the term. Any Commissioner may be reappointed for not more than one additional successive full term.
