§ 92.15 DESTRUCTION OR REMOVAL OF TREES UNLAWFUL.
   It is unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation, in person or by its authorized agent, to cause, allow, or permit the cutting or, in any manner, the destruction or removal of any trees of more than eight inches (measured three feet from the ground) in diameter within the city without making a formal application to and obtaining a permit from the city. When a permit is issued for tree removal, the city shall require the planting of a suitable replacement tree or trees.
