§ 90.27  DOGS RUNNING AT LARGE.
It shall be unlawful for the owner or custodian of any dog, whether licensed or not, to allow such dog to run at large in the town at any time of the year. For the purpose of this section, a dog shall be deemed to run at large while roaming, running or self-hunting off of the property of the owner or custodian of such dog, while not on a leash nor under the control of and accompanied by such owner or custodian. Upon complaint being made to the town police that the provisions of this section are being violated, such officer may, after investigation, notify the County Animal Control Warden, who may then impound the dog, with disposition of such dog being subject to the county ordinances and regulations.
