§ 90.26  BARKING OR HOWLING.
   It shall be unlawful for the owner or custodian of any dog to cause, permit or suffer such animal to bark, howl or make such other disturbance as to disturb the quiet of any owner or occupier of any property adjoining or in the vicinity of the property of the owner of the dog. Upon complaint being made to a police officer of the town that the provisions of this section are being violated, or as a result of any investigation by the officer, such officer shall give notice of such violation to the owner or custodian of such dog and order a discontinuance of the disturbance. Failure of the recipient of such notice to comply with said order shall constitute an offense.
