(A) Pursuant to the power vested in the town by VA Code § 46.2-1219, the following traffic regulations shall apply upon all parking lots open to the public designated to accommodate 50 or more vehicles:
(1) In all areas designated for vehicular traffic the speed limit shall be 15 mph; and
(2) It shall be a traffic infraction to park in any area or areas designated by signs or other appropriate markings prohibiting such parking, or to drive upon or park upon areas designated for pedestrian traffic or for fire lanes.
(B) Violation of any part of this section shall constitute a “traffic infraction” as defined by VA Code § 46.2-1219, as amended.
