§ 153.04 STREET SIGNS REQUIRED.
   (A)   The city has determined that the installation of street signs in new subdivisions or other new developments is necessary to promote the general welfare and safety of the citizenry.
   (B)   Where any new subdivision, or other new development, includes the construction of a street or streets to be dedicated and accepted by the city, the city shall construct and install green and white reflective street signs, depicting the name of the street or streets, at each intersection with another street. Additionally, the city shall install all other appropriate signs including, but not limited to, stop signs, speed limit signs, parking, and no parking signs.
   (C)   The minimum dimensions of such street signs shall be eight (8) inches in height and twenty-four (24) inches in width. All other signage shall be in conformity with state law regarding size and color.
   (D)   Upon the installation of any sign hereunder, the city shall bill the developer for the costs of the signs and for the costs of labor for said installation. Billing for labor shall be at the regular employee rates that the city pays such employees which shall be billed at a minimum of thirty (30) minute increments. The city shall thereafter assume responsibility for maintenance of the signs.
