§ 71.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter for which no other penalty is specifically provided shall be fined not less than twenty dollars ($20) nor more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250).
   (B)   Any person who violates § 71.26 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and fined not less than sixty dollars ($60) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500), or be imprisoned in the county jail for not more than thirty (30) days, or both.

   (C)   Any person who violates § 71.35 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250) or imprisoned for not more than ninety (90) days or
both. (KRS 189.378)
   (D)   Any person violating § 71.28(B) or (C) shall be punished by a fine of two hundred fifty dollars ($250) for each offense, as well as any remediation costs for damages to the roadway. For a second and subsequent offense, a person shall be punished by a fine of five hundred dollars ($500) and/or up to thirty (30) days imprisonment, as well as any remediation costs for damages to the roadway.
