No person shall remove, relocate, break, deface, destroy or otherwise injure any gravestone, as that term is defined herein, or any tree, shrub, plant, vase, railing, gate or other object, property, structure, article or thing belonging to, placed or erected on or in a cemetery, columbarium, crypt, grave, lot, mausoleum, niche, space and vault, unless otherwise permitted in this chapter.
