The primary function of the Public Works Department shall be to provide for the maintenance of the City streets, parks, public areas and medians. Administration of the Public Works Department shall be the responsibility of the City Administrative Officer, working under the supervision of the City Commission assigned to the Public Works Department. Duties within the Public Works Department include:
(A) Maintain and repair the City’s physical assets, including streets, medians, entrances, trees, public lands, landscape lighting and irrigation.
(B) Negotiate, recommend and administer contracts for repaving, street repair, snow removal, mowing and landscaping.
