A. State: It shall be unlawful for any person or entity, including any licensee or permittee or any of its officers, managers, employees or agents, to keep for sale or to directly or indirectly, or upon any pretense or devise, offer to sell, sell or otherwise furnish or supply to another:
1. Any beer or beer product without having first obtained a beer retail license or permit in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and the Utah alcoholic beverage control act; and
2. Any liquor, wine or other nonbeer alcoholic beverage or alcoholic product without having first obtained the appropriate retail license or permit in accordance with the provisions of the Utah alcoholic beverage control act, the provisions of which are hereby adopted insofar as applicable to this chapter.
B. City: In addition to the license or permit required by subsection A of this section, any person engaged in the sale of alcoholic beverages or alcoholic products must also obtain a business license and otherwise comply with all other pertinent provisions of this code.
