(A) To ensure compliance with the erosion and sediment control plan, the city shall inspect sites having ongoing land-disturbing activities, as deemed appropriate by the city.
(B) If land-disturbing activities are being carried out without a permit required by this chapter or other applicable authority, the city shall issue a stop work order, pursuant to the provisions of IC 36-1-4-11, and take appropriate action to bring the situation into compliance with the Huntington City Code, pursuant to IC 36-1-6-2.
