The district designated for agricultural use, "A," is intended to protect and maintain the agricultural lands utilized for farming and livestock purposes. It is the intent of this section to preserve agricultural lands and to discourage reclassification of zoning to non-agricultural use without a clear showing of proven need in the public interest and a clear showing of conformity with the Comprehensive Plan. IC 34-1-52-4 (State Right to Farm Law) and IC 15-11-2-6 are hereby incorporated by reference.
