§ 110.01 DEFINITION.
   For the purpose of this chapter the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   "BILL POSTERS." All persons who engage in the business or occupation of posting, whether by tacking, pasting, painting, or otherwise displaying any advertising matter, bills, posters, pictures, or other devices, whatsoever, advertising the business of any person, firm, whether that of merchant, manufacturer, publisher, or person or persons engaged in business or industrial pursuit, or of operas, theatres, shows, circuses, or other exhibitions. Provided that nothing herein shall be construed to apply to the painting of store, office, or other signs by sign painters, nor to the posting of legal notices by public officers or other authorized persons in the manner and places prescribed by law.
