(A) It is the purpose of this chapter to protect the public health, safety and welfare and enhance the environment of the people of the city by:
(1) Prohibiting public nuisances as defined in § 98.01,
(2) Providing for naturalized landscaping as defined in § 98.002, and
(3) Restricting the use of consumer fireworks as defined in § 98.002.
(B) This chapter is to be administered by the city Police and Fire Departments as directed by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Huntington, Indiana ("Board").
