§ 94.05 REVIEW OF BUILDING PLANS AND CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
   (A)   When an application for a building permit is submitted to the Community Development and Redevelopment Department (“Department”) for the construction of any Class I structure, a copy of the plans for that structure shall be submitted to the city's Fire Marshal or his or her written designee.
   (B)   The Fire Marshal shall determine whether those plans appear to conform to the requirements of then applicable authority with regard to matters of fire prevention and safety. That determination shall not be construed as an approval or waiver of any violation of the requirements of applicable authority.
   (C)   A certificate of occupancy obtained from the Department for a structure must thereafter be signed by the Fire Marshal (or written designee) following an inspection of the completed facility for the certificate of occupancy to be valid. However, such a certificate of occupancy shall not be construed as an approval or waiver of any violation of the requirements of applicable authority.
