The seal of the city shall consist of a disk 1-3/4 inches in diameter designed with an outer circle in which shall be the words "City of Huntington, Indiana" and an inner circle in one half of which shall be the word "Incorporated", and in the other half the words "Organized as a City", and under the word "Incorporated" there shall be in a straight line the word and figures "Feb. 16, 1848." Under the words "Organized as a City," there shall be in a straight line the word and figures "Sept. 17, 1873."
