No person, firm, partnership, corporation or other legal entity shall engage in the business of an electrical contractor, as defined herein, within the corporate limits of the city, or at any service location connected to the city’s electric system, without first having registered with the city and furnishing proof of insurance in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.
