It shall be unlawful to cut, damage or remove any tree, limb, shrub or plant on the city-owned property adjoining the City Lake, except when authorized by the Mayor or Council of the city for the maintenance and improvement of the City Lake property. It shall be unlawful to destroy, deface or vandalize any sign, fence or other improvements situated on or in the City Lake or on any land owned by the city and adjoining the City Lake.
