As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following definitions unless the context indicates otherwise.
GRASS.
Any of various green plants having simple leaves, and generally cultivated for lawns, but excluding agricultural crops such as hay and pasture.
OWNER.
The record owner of the affected real property as reflected in the Office of County Auditor.
RANK VEGETATION.
The uncontrolled growth of any grass, weed, or other plant beyond nine inches in height, excluding trees, flowers, ornamental shrubs and plants, and agricultural crops such as hay and pasture.
WEEDS.
Any uncultivated plants occurring naturally which have a tendency to dominate or drive out grasses or other cultivated plants, but does not include agricultural crops such as hay and pasture.
