Each prospective customer shall sign a service agreement with the city for the type of service he or she desires. Each prospective customer shall grant to or obtain for the city an easement over the property where the service will be installed, permitting the city to use this property to lay, maintain and remove, the gas service and permitting the city ingress and egress to the property for the purpose of operating and maintaining the service.
