Every person required to register and permit a recreational off-highway vehicle to be operated on the streets and alleys within the jurisdiction of the city shall present said vehicle to the Police Department for inspection for compliance with the minimum equipment, and proof of financial responsibility requirements of this chapter. The registration and permit issued shall be displayed on the vehicle.
