ORDINANCE NO. 2021-25

AN ORDINANCE ENACTING AND ADOPTING SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE CITY OF HUNTINGBURG, INDIANA

   WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, has completed a Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Huntingburg, identified as "2020 S-18" which supplement contains all ordinances of a general and permanent nature enacted since the prior supplement and through Ordinance No. 2021-13 passed April 27, 2021, and Indiana state legislation current through 2020 Acts, Pamphlet No. 3.

   WHEREAS, in order to provide for the usual operation of the municipality and for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and general welfare of the municipality, it is necessary that this Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Huntingburg be adopted and this ordinance take effect immediately upon its adoption by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.

   NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Huntingburg, Indiana, as follows:

   Section 1.   That the Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Huntingburg as submitted by the American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, identified as "2020 S-18" attached hereto, be and the same is hereby approved and adopted by reference as if set out in its entirety.

   Section 2.   That said Supplement shall be deemed published as of the day of its adoption by the Common Council of the City of Huntingburg and approval by the Mayor, and the Clerk-Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to insert such supplement into the copies of such Code of Ordinances maintained in the Office of the Clerk-Treasurer and the copy maintained in the Huntingburg Public Library.

   Section 3.   This Ordinance is hereby determined necessary for the immediate preservation of the peace, health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of this municipality, and shall take effect upon its adoption by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.
