The members of the Volunteer Fire Department of the city:
(A) Shall be of the age of at least 18 years;
(B) Shall reside within the City of Huntingburg planning and zoning territorial authority as recorded at Plat Book 7, Page 122 in the Office of Recorder, Dubois County, Indiana; provided, however, that no more than three members may be permitted to live outside said planning and zoning territory, but within Patoka Township, Dubois County, Indiana;
(C) Shall be qualified and able to drive the city fire trucks;
(D) Shall complete the state mandatory firefighting training within six months and the Firefighter I and II training courses within two years of appointment; and
(E) Shall serve a probationary period of six months after successful completion of the required state mandatory firefighting training.
