Every person required to register and permit a golf cart to be operated on the streets and alleys within the jurisdiction of the city shall present the golf cart to the Police Department for inspection for compliance with the safety emblem, minimum equipment and proof of financial responsibility requirements of this subchapter. The registration and permit issued shall be displayed on the golf cart.
