(A) There is hereby established a local Law Enforcement Continuing Education Fund in accordance with the provisions of I.C. 5-2-8-2 into which all handgun license application fees, all handgun transfer application fees, all accident report fees and all motor vehicle inspection fees shall be deposited by the Clerk-Treasurer of the city.
(B) The funds so collected and deposited into the Local Law Enforcement Continuing Education Fund shall be expended for law enforcement continuing education pursuant to I.C. 5-2-8-2 without the necessity of first obtaining an appropriation from the fiscal body of the city.
