All customers of the Huntertown Water Utility shall have their water service metered. All meters and remote reading devices shall be provided by the municipality, and shall be installed at the expense of the customer. All customers that do not install water meters within 30 days after this section becomes effective shall have water service disconnected by the Huntertown Water Utility. All customers that do not repair any existing water meter which is not operating properly, upon 30 days’ written notice, shall have their water service disconnected by the Huntertown Water Utility.
