(A) The President of the Town Council is hereby authorized to declare emergencies and issue orders related thereto to protect the health and safety of the residents of the town; and
(B) The orders shall remain in effect until rescinded by the President, or until the next regular meeting of the Town Council, at which time the order will be ratified, amended or rescinded, whichever shall first occur.
