Should the owner fail to comply with the order to abate the violating conditions or to request a hearing, the public officer may file a complaint against the owner in the Municipal Court, and upon conviction of any violation of the provisions of § 8-207, the owner shall be fined in an amount not to exceed $100. Each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues after service of the order shall constitute an additional or separate offense.
