§ 5-207 LICENSE FEE; TIME LIMITS; EXEMPTIONS.
   (a)   Fees for the required license under § 5-202 shall be as follows:
      (1)   Twenty dollars per day for each day, or portion thereof, that the licensee shall solicit within the city limits. Such license shall be limited to and effective only for the days set out in the license and only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.; and
      (2)   One hundred dollars per calendar year for any person or firm not having a permanently established place of business within the city, but which has a permanently established house-to-house or wholesale business. Such licensee shall be limited to solicitations or sales only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., or upon invitation at any hour.
   (b)   No license fee shall be required of:
      (1)   Any person selling products of the farm or orchard actually produced by the seller;
      (2)   Any businesses, trades or occupations which are a part of any fair or celebration which is sponsored by, or for which the expense of such fair or celebration is paid or supplemented by the city or the State of Kansas or any governmental subdivision thereof; or
      (3)   Any charitable organization.
