§ 4-210 BUILDING PERMIT REQUIRED; APPLICATION; APPROVAL.

   (a)   It shall be unlawful for any person to do, or cause to be done, within the city any of the following actions without first obtaining a building permit for such from the city’s Code Enforcement Officer:

      (1)   Erect a building or structure of any kind;

      (2)   Enlarge or add to the outside dimension of any existing building or structure;

      (3)   Remodel any building or structure;

      (4)   Repair or replace a roof or siding;

      (5)   Move or relocate a building or structure; or

      (6)   Demolish or raze a building or structure.

   (b)   A building permit shall be obtained before any work or activity relating to the above actions is commenced.
