Whenever a gas meter is moved from its current location at the request of the owner or occupant of the premises being served by the meter, a fee shall be charged. If the meter is to be moved 15 feet or less, the fee shall be equal to 50% of the original tap fee being charged by the city at the time the meter is moved. If the meter is to be moved more than 15 feet, the fee shall be equal to 100% of the original tap fee being charged by the city at the time the meter is moved.
