§ 12-301 BOARD MEMBERSHIP; APPOINTMENT.

(a) The Mayor shall appoint with the approval of the City Council, a Library Board for the library of the city.

(b) The Library Board shall consist of seven members, to be appointed in the manner and for terms provided by law, and the Mayor shall be ex officio a member of the Board with the same powers as appointed members.
