(a) It is unlawful for any minor under 18 years of age to loiter, ramble, play or frequent the streets or other places in the city after the hour of 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 12:00 midnight on Friday and Saturday, unless the minor is accompanied by a parent, guardian or other person having the legal custody of the minor or is in the performance of an errand or duty directed by a parent, guardian or legal custodian and having a written statement dated that day and signed by the parent, guardian or legal custodian declaring the child to be on an emergency errand.
(b) It is unlawful for any parent, guardian or any other person having the legal custody of a minor to allow or permit the minor to loiter or frequent the streets or other public places of the city within the time prohibited in subsection (a) above.
(c) Any person found guilty of violating any of the provisions of this section shall be punished as provided in § 1-116.
