§ 8-904 DISCRIMINATION IN THE FINANCING OF HOUSING.
   It shall be unlawful for any lending association, insurance company or other corporation, or association, who business consists in whole or in part in the making of commercial real estate loans, to deny a loan or other financial assistance to any person for the purpose of purchasing, constructing, improving, repairing or maintaining a dwelling, or to discriminate against the person in the fixing of the amount, interest rate, duration or other terms or conditions of such loan or other financial assistance because of the race or color, religion, national origin, sex, familial status (including children under the age of 18 living with parents or legal custodians, pregnant women and people securing custody of children under 18) and handicap of the person, or persons associated with him or her.
