9-12-4: NONCONFORMING USES OF LAND:
Where, on the effective date hereof, a lawful use of land exists that is no longer permissible under the regulations and standards of this title, such use may be continued subject to the following provisions:
   A.   No such use of land shall be enlarged, increased, or extended to occupy a greater area of land than was occupied on the date when the use became nonconforming.
   B.   No such use of land may be moved to any other portion of the lot not so occupied when the use became nonconforming.
   C.   If any such nonconforming use of land ceases for any reason for a period of more than one hundred eighty (180) consecutive days, any subsequent use of the land shall conform to the standards contained in this title for the district in which such use is located. (Ord. 1150, 4-2-1996)
