7-1-12: MAILBOXES:
Mailboxes permitted or required to be placed adjacent to a street by the United States Postal Service regulations shall comply with said regulations and the following:
   A.   Mailboxes shall be placed no closer than three inches (3") from the back of the curb and at least forty two inches (42") above the curb but no more than forty eight inches (48") above the traveled portion of the street. Mailboxes on Village streets without curb shall be three feet (3') from the edge of the road.
   B.   No brick posts or supporting structures are allowed.
   C.   Any ornamental designs must have prior approval from the Superintendent of Streets. (2016 Code)
