(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter, for which no other penalty is provided, shall be subject to the penalty provisions of § 10.99.
(B) A violation of the mandatory water conservation measures described in this chapter shall constitute a petty misdemeanor, except that a violation which is proceeded within the previous 12 months by two or more violations of this chapter shall constitute a misdemeanor. The punishment for a petty misdemeanor may be a fine of up to $100. The punishment for a misdemeanor may be a fine of up to $700, or imprisonment up to 90 days, or both. Each day a violation exists constitutes a separate offense. Further, continued violation shall be cause for discontinuance of water service.
