(A) Intoxicating liquor; on sale. No sale of intoxicating liquor for consumption on the licensed premises may be made:
(1) Between 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on the days of Monday through Saturday; and
(2) After 1:00 a.m. on Sunday except as provided by division (B) below.
(B) Intoxicating liquor; Sunday sales; on sale.
(1) A restaurant, club, bowling center or hotel with a seating capacity for at least 30 persons which holds an on sale intoxicating liquor license may sell intoxicating liquor for consumption on the premises in conjunction with the sale of food between the hours of 8:00 a.m. on Sundays and 1:00 a.m. on Mondays.
(2) An establishment serving intoxicating liquor on Sundays must obtain a Sunday license. The license may be issued by the City Council, for a period of one year, and the fee for the license shall be established by City Council resolution. The holder of any Sunday liquor license must comply with all required state statutes and city ordinances.
(C) Intoxicating liquor; off sale.
(1) No sale of intoxicating liquor may be made by an off sale licensee:
(a) On Sundays, except between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.;
(b) Before 8:00 a.m. on Monday through Saturday;
(c) After 10:00 p.m. on Monday through Saturday;
(d) On Thanksgiving Day;
(e) On Christmas Day, December 25; or
(f) After 8:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve, December 24.
(2) No delivery of alcohol to an off sale licensee may be made by a wholesaler or accepted by an off sale licensee on a Sunday. No order solicitation or merchandising may be made by a wholesaler on a Sunday.
(D) Cigars, cigarettes, tobacco or 3.2% malt liquor or soft drinks. No cigars, cigarettes, tobacco or 3.2% malt liquor or soft drinks shall be sold in any exclusive liquor store during the hours when the sale of intoxicating liquor is prohibited in the store.
