(A) Pursuant to I.C. 36-7-12-4, the County Council hereby establishes the County Department of Economic Development with the powers to finance economic development or pollution control facilities under the Act.
(B) Pursuant to I.C. 36-7-12-7, the Department will be controlled by a board to be known as the County Economic Commission. The Commission will consist of three members; one member to be selected by the Board of County Commissioners, one member nominated by the County Council and one member nominated by the Common Council of the City of Kokomo, each of whom shall be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners.
