§ 35.01 PURPOSE.
   The purpose of the creation of this subchapter is to identify and designate certain areas within the city as Economic Development Districts (EDD) or Residential Development Districts (RDD) in order to stimulate economic and residential growth in the city through tax incentives. These designated areas shall meet the criteria of SDCL § 11-7-3 and of an urban renewal area, as per County Resolution #2011-4.
