4-2-2: BATTERY:
   A.   Battery Defined: A battery is any:
      1.   Wilful and unlawful use of force or violence upon the person of another; or
      2.   Actual, intentional and unlawful touching or striking of another person against the will of the other; or
      3.   Unlawfully and intentionally causing bodily harm to an individual. (Ord. 150, 6-8-1994)
   B.   Penalty: Battery is a misdemeanor punishable as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. (Ord. 150, 6-8-1994; amd. 2008 Code)
