§ 33.136 BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
   (A)   The affairs of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Ambulance Service District shall be controlled and managed by a Board of Directors known as the Hopkinsville-Christian County Ambulance Service Board.
   (B)   The Board of Directors shall consist of six members and shall consist of the following:
      (1)   The County Judge Executive of Christian County or official designee;
      (2)   The Mayor of the City of Hopkinsville or official designee;
      (3)   The Mayor of the City of Crofton or official designee;
      (4)   The Mayor of the City of Oak Grove or official designee;
      (5)   A member of the Fiscal Court of Christian County, Kentucky, to be appointed and designated by the County Judge Executive; and
      (6)   A member of the City of Hopkinsville, City Council to be appointed and designated by the Mayor.
   (C)   Each Board member shall reside within the district and within the county or city of which he or she was appointed to represent.
   (D)   The Board of Directors shall serve and/or be appointed within 30 days after the adoption of this subchapter by the appointing authorities. Directors shall be appointed for terms of one year except in a case where a member is serving by a virtue of his or her office, i.e., Mayor and Judge Executive.
   (E)   A majority of the membership of the Board shall constitute a quorum. The Board shall meet at least quarterly and special meetings of the Board may be called by the Director or by majority of the membership of the Board.
