§ 119.08 ENFORCEMENT.
   (A)   Criminal penalties.
      (1)   Any person violating any of the provisions of §§ 119.05 or 119.06 of this chapter may be prosecuted under either this chapter, as a Class A misdemeanor, or the Kentucky Penal Code. Upon conviction under this chapter, violations are punishable by the maximum penalties provided for the same offense under the Kentucky Penal Code.
      (2)   Except as otherwise provided herein, any violation of any provision of this chapter shall constitute a Class A misdemeanor which is punishable upon conviction by a fine not to exceed $500 or a term of imprisonment not to exceed 12 months, or both.
      (3)   Each calendar day during which a person is in violation of any provision of this chapter shall constitute a separate violation of that provision.
   (B)   Civil remedies. In addition to any other remedies which may be available at law or in equity, the city may sue in the appropriate district court for an injunction to prohibit the violation of, or enforce compliance with, any regulation contained in this chapter.
